Maintenance Division

The Maintenance Division oversees the preservation, upkeep, inspection, evaluation and restoration of more than 197,000 miles of Texas highways and rights of way. The division also coordinates TxDOT's maintenance contracts, manages Safety Rest Areas, various vegetation management programs, the Pits and Quarries Program and provides support and guidance to TxDOT districts during natural disasters and emergencies.
