The Internal Audit Division provides assurance through a systematic and disciplined approach that evaluates and enhances the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The division is committed to professionalism, objectivity, and integrity while applying recognized audit standards and techniques. Auditing techniques comply with the Texas Internal Auditing Act, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards, and the Global Internal Audit Standards.
