Alternative Delivery Division Director

Greg Snider, P.E. serves as the director of the Alternative Delivery Division.

As director, Snider is responsible for overseeing TxDOT’s Alternative Delivery Program, managing staff responsible for ensuring effective planning, oversight, consistency, and administration.

A member of the TxDOT family since 2013, he began his career with TxDOT in Houston’s alternative project delivery program tasked to; develop, procure, implement and oversee the operations and maintenance of the district's alternative delivery projects. His leadership was integral in delivering segments F1, F2, and G of the SH 99 Grand Parkway, a $1 billion, 38-mile greenfield design-build project. During his time in Houston, he was also responsible for overseeing the SH288 Toll Lanes Project, a 10.3-mile managed lane 52-year design-build-finance-operate-maintain toll concession. Before joining TxDOT, he worked as a civil engineering consultant on infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally.

Snider graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering.
