Maintenance Division Director

Jace Lee, P.E., serves as director of Maintenance.

Jace Lee, P.E has more than 14 years of TxDOT experience and brings progressive leadership across construction, design, and district maintenance operations. Beginning his career in the Atlanta and Lufkin Districts, he served in a range of operational and engineering roles and earned his Professional Engineer license in 2016. Since licensure he has served as Assistant Area Engineer and Area Engineer in the Bryan District’s Huntsville Area Office, where he led construction and maintenance operations, managed major projects, and helped coordinate high-visibility emergency responses. Prior to coming to the Maintenance Division, Lee served as Director of Maintenance for the Bryan District, leading districtwide maintenance strategy, resource management, performance accountability, and incident response.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
