Bridge Division
TxDOT Divisions
The Bridge Division supports the structural planning, design, construction and maintenance of bridges and transportation structures throughout the state. In addition, the division is responsible for the in-service safety inspection of over 57,000 on- and off-system bridges. The division also develops statewide policies, standards, manuals, and guidelines for the design, maintenance, management, and construction of a safe and comprehensive state bridge system.
