Since 1989, the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) has sponsored the International Aviation Art Contest to challenge young people to illustrate the importance of aviation through art. TxDOT’s Aviation Division hosts the contest at the state level.
The 2025 theme – “Women with Wings”
The 2025 FAI International Aviation Art Contest invites those aged 6-17 to submit artwork inspired by the daring women who have defied society's expectations, taking to the air and proving that the sky is a place for everyone. Whether it's record-breaking flights, breathtaking skydiving formations, or flawless precision landings, we invite you to illustrate how women from diverse backgrounds find freedom and inspire others through their passion for flight.
The International Aviation Art Contest brochure includes the Certificate of Authenticity which is required with all artwork submittals. Download the brochure.
