This biannual report (annual until 2004) describes Texas publicly owned vehicular bridges and their condition based on information from the following sources:

  • Bridge Inspection Database
  • Unified Transportation Program
  • Design and Construction Information System

The report describes bridges categorized by location either on or off the state highway system and describes the condition of Texas bridges in terms of sufficiency:

  • Sufficient (bridges in good or better condition)
  • Structurally deficient
  • Functionally obsolete
  • Substandard for load only
