TxDOT uses numerous mechanisms to remove litter and debris from roadsides and reduce costs to taxpayers, including the Highway Sponsorship Program. Under this program, participating sponsors may sponsor a 1-mile segment of the highway. Sponsors pay monthly fees to support litter pickup within the 1 mile section and receive an official sponsorship sign with their organization’s logo.
As of October 1st, TxDOT has partnered with Adopt a Highway Litter Removal Service of America Inc. for litter pickup and sign installation. For any questions, please contact them via email.
This program is separate from TxDOT’s Logo Sign Program and Adopt-a-Highway Program.
