Authorizations and approvals
On October 31, 2013, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC) directed the department to publish a request for qualifications in Minute Order 113740 to develop, design, and construct the SH 71 Toll Lanes Project.
An Industry Workshop was held on November 21, 2013.
On December 16, 2013, TxDOT posted the list of proposer teams who submitted Qualifications Statements (QS) and TxDOT announced the short list of most qualified teams to submit detailed proposals on January 17, 2014.
