Authorizations and approvals
On May 24, 2018, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 115220, authorized the issuance of a request for qualifications (RFQ) to design, develop, construct, and potentially maintain improvements in the I-635 corridor from US 75 to I-30 in Dallas County, known as the I-635 LBJ East Project.
On June 15, 2018, TxDOT held a Pre-QS Industry Workshop to discuss the proposed project and its purpose and need to relieve congestion, improve safety and mobility, and provide reliable travel time in the area.

TxDOT issued the initial, final RFQ on June 8, 2018, and two subsequent addenda were released . Addendum No. 03 was posted on June 22, 2018. These documents and additional support documents are available below.
