Authorizations and approvals

On June 26, 2018, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 115259, authorized the issuance of a request for proposal (RFP) to develop, design, construct, and potentially maintain the I-635 LBJ-East Project in Dallas County.

On February 15, 2019, the department held a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Outreach Workshop to seek DBE firm participation to ensure compliance with requirements of the RFP.

TxDOT announced the short list of the most qualified teams to submit detailed proposal on July 26, 2018. Documentation on proposer teams, their executive summaries and additional information are available in the support documents link in the section below.

TxDOT issued the initial request for proposal on November 9, 2018. Five subsequent addenda were distributed with Addendum No. 05 being posted on April 1, 2019. These documents are available below.
