Authorizations and approvals
On April 28, 2005, the Texas Transportation Commission directed the department to publish a request for qualifications in Minute Order 110052 for the development of a proposed tolled managed lanes along I-635 from US 75 to I-35E.
TxDOT received and evaluated qualifications submitted by September 22, 2005 from proposer teams. The Texas Transportation Commission authorized a short list of teams to submit detailed proposals.
