US 77 from Kingsville to Driscoll
Authorizations and approvals
On May 31, 2012, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 113115, authorized TxDOT to issue a request for qualifications (RFQ) to develop, design, construct, and potentially maintain the US 77 project between E. Corral Avenue in Kingsville to south of Driscoll to interstate standards.
An Pre-QS Workshop was held on June 11, 2012, at the TxDOT Corpus Christi District Office.
On June 26, 2012, TxDOT posted the list of qualification teams and equity members for the project. On July 13, 2012, TxDOT announced the short list of the most qualified teams to compete for the US 77 Design-Build contract.
