Authorizations and approvals
On May 25, 2023, the Texas Transportation Commission approved the determination that the proposal submitted by Lone Star Constructors NEX provided the apparent best value to TxDOT for the I-35 Northeast Expansion South Project.
Executed documents
On Aug. 16, 2023, TxDOT officials executed a Design-Build Contract (DBC) and associated Capital Maintenance Contract (CMC) with Lone Star Constructors, NEX for the design, construction, and maintenance of the I-35 NEX South Project.
