I-35E Phase 2 - request for qualifications (RFQ)

On April 30, 2020, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 115724, authorized the issuance of a request for qualification (RFQ) to design, construct and maintain improvements in the I-35E corridor from I-635 to the Denton County line in Dallas County (I-35E Phase 2 Project).

TxDOT held an Industry Workshop, on May 15, 2020, to discuss the proposed project and its purpose and need to relieve congestion, improve safety and mobility, and provide reliable travel time in the area.

On July 2, 2020, TxDOT posted the list of qualification teams and their equity members for the I-35E Phase 2 Project. On July 30, 2020, TxDOT announced the shortlist of the most qualified teams to submit detailed proposals.
