Authorizations and approvals
On July 29, 2021, the Texas Transportation Commission approved the determination that the proposal submitted by Lone Star Constructors provides the apparent best value to TxDOT for the design, construction, and capital maintenance of the I-35E Phase 2 Project.
Executed documents
On September 17, 2021, TxDOT officials executed a Design-Build Contract (DBC) and associated Capital Maintenance Contract (CMC) with Lone Star Constructors for the design, construction, and capital maintenance of the I-35E Phase 2 Project.
Final Award of the executed design-build and capital maintenance agreements for the I-35E Phase 2 Project was posted on the project webpage on September 29, 2021.
