Connecting Career Pathways Program
Through the Connecting Career Pathways (CCP) Program, educators inspire future generations by connecting students to careers in transportation and civil engineering. Hands-on STEM activities aligned with national standards bring these fields to life in the classroom. Transportation careers benefit students and local communities by offering skilled, high-paying, and sustainable job opportunities that help move Texans forward.
Even with these benefits, many students are unaware of the career pathways available in transportation and civil engineering, or unsure how to access them. Educators collaborate with administrators, counselors, higher education institutions, and industry partners to close these gaps in awareness and opportunity.
