Connecting Career Pathways Program

TxDOT's Civil Rights Division has designed the Connecting Career Pathways (CCP) Program to introduce
K-12 students to transportation infrastructure careers, through awareness and exploration activities.
CCP fosters a future where K-12 students are inspired to pursue dynamic careers in transportation to keep Texas moving.

CCP connects education, industry, and workforce leaders across Texas:

• Promote and support awareness and understanding of the wide variety of transportation-related careers available and the education pathways leading to these careers.
• Increase the availability of transportation-related exploration activities, coursework, programs of study, and interactive learning experiences for students at all levels of education.
• Share positive experiences and benefits of transportation infrastructure careers.
• Establish a network of innovative partnerships connecting programs, resources, strategies, and stakeholders.
