SH 47 at SH 21 Interchange

The TxDOT Bryan District is developing plans to improve the SH 47 at SH 21 interchange in Brazos County, Texas. The project would construct a new interchange to enhance safety, reduce congestion, maintain local connectivity and improve mobility at this location.

The project is being developed in collaboration with the member agencies of the Bryan College Station Metropolitan Planning Organization (BCS MPO), under the 2022 Brazos County Transportation Road Improvement Program, to meet current and future traffic demand attributed to development growth in the area.

Right of way acquisition may be required for this project. The proposed SH 47 at SH 21 interchange project is in the preliminary design phase which includes obtaining traffic and survey data, performing environmental studies and developing design concepts. The project is currently not funded for construction.
