TxDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting for proposed improvements to SH 115 from Spur 57 in Pyote to SH 128 in Ward, Winkler and Andrews counties, Texas.

The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded presentation, an interactive map, and an opportunity to comment. Comments must be received or postmarked on or before Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, to be part of the official record of the virtual public meeting.

If you need additional information or have questions about the proposed project, please call the project team at (281) 820-7413.

The proposed SH 115 South project starts at Spur 57 in Pyote and extends north for 49 miles through the cities of Wink and Kermit, and then eventually ends at SH 128, about 3.4 miles past the Winkler/Andrews county line. Proposed improvements would include widening to a four-lane divided highway with two lanes in each direction and a depressed median.

It has not been determined how much additional right of way may be required or whether the project will involve construction in wetlands or floodplains.
