Description:

The proposed improvements to this 37-mile segment of SH 18 North would include widening to a four-lane divided highway, with two lanes in each direction, with a center median or barrier and turn-lanes throughout the entire length of the project. It has not been determined how much additional right of way may be required or whether the project will involve construction in wetlands or floodplains.
