TxDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting with in-person options to identify and gather feedback on potential improvements for the US 183 corridor from SH 29 to FM 963 that align with TxDOT’s mission and reflect community values.

No formal presentation is planned, and community members are invited to come and go at their convenience.

Purpose The purpose of the study is to improve safety and mobility, while addressing current and future growth along the corridor.
Description TxDOT is conducting a schematic/environmental study of the 23.7-mile US 183 corridor, spanning from SH 29 in Williamson County to FM 963 in Burnet County.
Accessibility The public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the community workshop, please contact the project team at 512-947-6188, no later than 4 p.m. CT, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
