TxDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting with in-person option to identify and gather feedback on potential improvement concepts that align with TxDOT’s mission and reflect community values.

No formal presentation is planned, and community members are invited to come and go at their convenience.

Purpose TxDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting with in-person option to identify and gather feedback on potential improvement concepts that align with TxDOT’s mission and reflect community values.
Description TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study encompassing the 7.7-mile segment of RM 1826 from the Travis/Hays County line to RM 150 to analyze current and future transportation, safety, and mobility needs along the corridor with the goal of identifying improvement concepts.
Accessibility The public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the community workshop, please contact Sarah Hay at 512-766-8891, no later than 4 p.m. CT, Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
