US 290 from Oak Hill to Dripping Springs Planning and Feasibility Study
TxDOT's Austin district is preparing a planning and feasibility study to identify future safety and mobility improvements to US 290 from RM 1826 in southwest Austin to RM 12 in Dripping Springs. The corridor spans both Travis and Hays counties.
Study overview
The purpose of this planning and feasibility study is to identify long-term safety and mobility solutions for the US 290 corridor and establish a recommended right-of-way footprint. The study will include many opportunities for public involvement.
TxDOT plans to enter into the environmental study and schematic design process to further develop any potential solutions identified at the conclusion of the planning and feasibility study.
The proposed project would connect to the Oak Hill Parkway project.
