Purpose

To evaluate long-term safety and mobility solutions along US 290 from RM 1826 in southwest Austin to Rob Shelton Boulevard in Dripping Springs.

Description

Based on public feedback, TxDOT continues to evaluate design options and has extended the study timeline to allow for more community dialogue. Our goal is to develop a project that both meets the desired mobility and safety outcomes and reflects community values.

TxDOT will share information about the environmental study and what will be analyzed, community feedback that has been received, and the need for mobility and safety improvements to US 290 in the study area. TxDOT would like to receive community input regarding the mobility and safety issues they experience, as well as their ideas for improving the corridor.

Accessibility Workshop information and materials will be provided in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
