I-35 Northeast Expansion South - request for qualifications (RFQ)

TxDOT is seeking qualifications statements (QS) from teams interested in entering into a Design-Build Contract (DBC) in response to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to design, construct, and maintain the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South Project, in Bexar County along I-35 from I-410 South to I-410 North, including transitions along I-35 from Petroleum Drive to I-410 South, and along the portion of I-410 South from I-35/I-410 South Interchange to 0.3 miles north of Seguin Road/FM 78.

Qualification Teams - On July 15, 2022, TxDOT posted the list of qualification teams and their equity members for the I-35 NEX South Project.

TxDOT held a Procurement Industry Workshop on April 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm (CT) with industry partners for the I-35 NEX South Project in advance of RFQ issuance. TxDOT welcomed this opportunity to have a meaningful discourse with all potential Proposers concerning TxDOT’s approach to the procurement and implementation of its business opportunity programs. Attendance was not mandatory and interested parties will remain eligible to submit a QS if they did not attend the workshop.
