Authorizations and approvals

On March 31, 2011, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 112629, authorized the issuance of a request for qualifications (RFQ) for to develop, design, construct, finance, maintain, and operate the portion of the Grand Parkway Segments F-1, F-2, and G Project.

TxDOT issued notices (August 9, 2011 and October 4, 2011) that rescheduled the initially proposed issuance of an RFQ to later dates.

The qualification statements received from the QS proposer teams was divided between submissions for the Design-Build Delivery approach and another for a Toll Concession Delivery approach.
