SH 249 Extension - request for proposals (RFP)

TxDOT is pleased to present a request for proposals (RFP) to the shortlisted teams for the design, construction and maintenance of the SH 249 Extension from FM 1774 in Pinehurst, Texas, to SH 105 near Navasota, Texas, in Montgomery and Grimes counties.

Executed agreements

On Oct. 3, 2017, TxDOT officials executed a design-build agreement and associated capital maintenance agreement with WBCCI, LLC, for the design, construction and capital maintenance of the SH 249 Extension.

Apparent best value determination

On June 29, 2017, the Texas Transportation Commission, by Minute Order 114960, approved the determination that the proposal submitted by WBCCI, LLC, provides the apparent best value to the department.
