Construction Career Day

Construction Career Day is a construction career exploration event designed to provide 9th through 12th grade students a chance to experience the construction industry through interactive learning labs and equipment demonstrations under supervision by professional construction companies. Attendees can also learn about education paths to a career in the industry.

To make this event a success, the TxDOT Civil Rights Division partners with the Associated General Contractors of Texas, JJG Development, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, Tarrant County, and North Central, We Build Texas Roads, and the Federal Highway Administration.

Students will be contacted and invited directly through their school.
