Construction Career Day

Construction Career Day is an interactive career exploration event designed to give 9th–12th grade students the opportunity to experience the transportation infrastructure industry through hands-on learning labs and equipment demonstrations, guided by experienced professionals.

This year's event was hosted at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX on March 26, 2026, and welcomed more than 1,000 students, 115 teachers, and 60 employers. Construction Career Day was a success thanks to the collective efforts of state agencies, community organizations, and industry partners working together to support and inspire the future transportation workforce.
