Construction Career Day

Construction Career Day is a construction career exploration event designed to provide 9th through 12th-grade students a chance to experience the construction industry through interactive learning labs and equipment demonstrations under supervision by professional construction companies. Attendees can also learn about education paths to a career in the industry.

To make this event a success, TxDOT Civil Rights Division partners with the Associated General Contractors of Texas, Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, and the Federal Highway Administration.

Registration is now open for companies interested in sponsoring or hosting a booth at the 2024 Construction Career Day on April 2, 2024. High school attendees will be contacted and invited directly.
