REAL 2.0 Brookshire-Katy Implementation Plan

The purpose of the Regional Express Access Lanes (REAL) 2.0 Brookshire-Katy Implementation Plan is to identify transportation improvements aimed at actualizing the REAL concept. The study will identify needs, evaluate trends, and develop a list of strategies and identify short-, medium-, and long-range transportation improvements aimed at improving safety, mobility, resiliency, and accessibility of both people and goods/freight movement using concepts from The REAL Plan. 

The study area includes clusters of residential and employment activity centers and freight centers identified as part of The REAL Plan that are located in the western section of the Texas Department of Transportation Houston District’s (TxDOT HOU) service area including between the cities of Brookshire, Pattison, and Katy as shown in study area.
