- North section (US 380 to FM 2181): 10.5 miles
- Middle section (FM 2181 to President George Bush Turnpike): 12.1 miles
- South section (President George Bush Turnpike to I-635): 5.5 miles
- Construction dates
- Phase 1 of the I-35E project began construction in 2023 and was completed in 2018
- Phase 2 of the I-35E project is anticipated to begin construction late 2021
- Future phases of the I-35E project will be progressed as funding becomes available
