RM 620 at Anderson Mill Road
RM 620 at Anderson Mill Road is one of the most congested intersections along the RM 620 corridor in Travis and Williamson counties. As traffic volumes continue to grow, improvements are needed to increase mobility, enhance safety and improve travel reliability for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists.
TxDOT is advancing improvements to this intersection to address current and future transportation needs.
Proposed improvements
TxDOT is proposing improvements at the intersection of RM 620 and Anderson Mill Road from just south of Foundation Road to Little Elm Trail. The proposed project includes:
- Construction of two- to three-lane frontage roads.
- Elevated bypass lanes at Anderson Mill Road and El Salido Parkway.
- Intersection operational improvements.
- Enhanced bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.
- Safety and mobility improvements throughout the corridor.
The project extends approximately 1.2 miles along RM 620 through portions of Travis and Williamson counties.
