Notice of availability of finding of no significant impact (FONSI)

Purpose This notice advises the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed FM 2964 widening project and that the FONSI is available for public review.
Description

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct FM 2964 from SH 110 to FM 346 in Smith County, Texas.

The FONSI and approved final environmental assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TxDOT – Tyler District Office, 2709 W. Front St., Tyler, TX 75702. They are also available online at txdot.gov.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
