Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on proposed reconstruction and upgrade of FM 2105 from US 87 to US 277 in Tom Green County, Texas. The meeting will begin with an open house at 6 p.m. and a presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Aug. 22, 2019, to be a part of the official record.
Description:
The proposed project will reconstruct FM 2105 within the project limits to improve pavement and increase shoulders from 8 feet in width to 10 feet in width. The proposed project also includes the addition of a 14-foot center turn lane from US 87 to SH 208 and the addition of a culvert on the north side of FM 2105 and Grape Creek Road. The San Angelo TxDOT District will discuss construction impacts on traffic and travel patterns, including a proposed short-term detour on Grape Creek Road.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
