Open House - 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Presentation - 5:30 p.m.
Purpose:
The purpose of the study is to identify an alternative safety relief route to US 277 for the City of Sonora and sections of Sutton County. The meeting will be an Open House format with a formal presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. Staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received by Tuesday, March 31, 2020 to be included in the official record.
Description:
The goal is to divert the traffic around downtown to ease traffic congestion, enhance mobility and create safer driving conditions. Staff will present the advancing alternatives and solicit public input on the preferred alternative.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
