SH 115 South from Spur 247 to SH 128

Public comment deadline

TxDOT is proposing to widen SH 115 from Spur 247 to SH 128 in Ward, Winkler, and Andrews counties, Texas. The proposed improvements to this 47-mile segment of SH 115 South include widening to a four-lane divided highway, with two lanes in each direction, with a center median or barrier and turn-lanes throughout the entire length of the project. No improvements through the cities of Wink or Kermit are anticipated.

The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require approximately 450 acres of additional right of way and would potentially displace two non-residential structures. No residential structures would be displaced. Relocation assistance is available for displaced persons and businesses.
