Purpose The TxDOT Houston District is studying I-610 South from FM 521, also known as Almeda Road, to Telephone Road in Harris County, Texas.
Description

TxDOT is studying I-610 South from FM 521 (Almeda Road) to Telephone Road, a distance of approximately six (6) miles. The purpose of this public meeting is to provide an opportunity for the community to review and comment on the draft Needs and Goals and the conceptual alternatives. Conceptual alternatives are high-level solutions that address the transportation needs in the study area. Input received at this public meeting will assist in identifying a preferred alternative. The preferred alternative would then move forward into project development, which includes preliminary design and environmental review. Potential impacts and displacements would be determined as the proposed project progresses and would be presented at future public meetings.

Any preliminary documentation or materials, maps and drawings showing the study location, alternatives, draft purpose and need, and other information regarding the study are on file and available for review Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Houston District Office, 7600 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007. Study materials are also available online at www.txdot.gov/projects/hearings-meetings.html.

If you have any general questions or concerns regarding the study or the public meeting, please contact the Project Manager at 832-627-9795 or by email at as shown in the notice.
