The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The presentation will be posted online by 5 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024. 

To log onto the virtual meeting, go to the www.txdot.gov and search “I-35 Georgetown to Round Rock” to view the presentation, review materials and submit comments.

In-person details

The in-person meeting will be held at the following date, time and location:

In-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online public meeting which will be playing on a screen, review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff and/or consultants and leave written comments.

Purpose TxDOT is proposing improvements along 13 miles of I-35 from SH 29 (University Avenue) to SH 45 North in Williamson County, Texas. 
Description

The I-35 Georgetown to Round Rock Project proposes to add two non-tolled high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) managed lanes in each direction. The improvements would also include additional flyovers at I-35 and SH 45 North, ramp reconfigurations, bridge reconstruction or replacements, various intersection improvements and shared-use paths throughout the corridor.

Any environmental documentation, studies, maps, or drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 7901 N. I-35, Austin, TX 78753 or by calling 512-832-7000. Project materials are also available online at www.txdot.gov by searching “I-35 Georgetown to Round Rock”. These materials will also be available in hard copy form for review at the in-person meeting.

Accessibility The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
