TxDOT is hosting an in-person community workshop as an opportunity to provide feedback on potential locations for a relief route around the city of Blanco and share information about community and environmental resources within the area that need to be considered.

Purpose

The purpose of the US 281 Blanco Relief Route Study, in collaboration with local stakeholders and the public, is to develop a relief route alignment around the city of Blanco that meets TxDOT’s mission and reflects community values.

Description The objective of this study, in collaboration with local stakeholders and the public, is to arrive at a locally recommended relief route option.
Accessibility The workshop will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the workshop, please call 210-241-4503, no later than 4 p.m. CT, Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
