| Purpose | The purpose of this virtual public meeting is to receive comments on the proposed revision to a project that was approved in the Atlanta District 2021-2024 Rural TIP, which was presented on June 25, 2020. On that date, the TxDOT Atlanta District presented the proposed 2021-2024 Rural TIP for its nine counties. The Atlanta District includes Bowie, Cass, Marion, Harrison, Panola, Titus, Morris, Camp, and Upshur counties. This proposed February 2022 Revision includes increasing the construction cost of one project in the Atlanta District. This project was also moved from fiscal year 2021 to fiscal year 2022 through Administrative Modification in the November 2021 Revision. |
| Description | This virtual meeting format (no in-person meeting) includes a pre-recorded video presentation and comment opportunity. The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, these meetings offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed revision. The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. A presentation and exhibits showing how the Rural TIP operates and projects included in it will be displayed at the virtual public meeting. |
