Open House: SH 155 Roadway Widening - Marion and Upshur Counties

Where: Ore City High School Cafetorium

5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
   
Purpose: The purpose of this open house is to discuss the need and suggested alternatives for the proposed State Highway 155 roadway widening in Marion and Upshur counties.
   
Description: Proposed improvements include the following:
  • Widen the roadway from 0.3 miles east of US 259 to 1.5 miles west of Farm-to-Market Road 729
  • Construct a replacement at Big Cypress Creek (Lake O' the Pines) Bridge

Additional right of way would be required for this project. The Open House will feature a "come and go" format and will not include a formal presentation by TxDOT. TxDOT personnel will be on hand to answer questions and receive written comments.
