Purpose:
The purpose of the open house is to gather public input on the proposed US 271 bridge replacement project located at White Oak Creek, White Oak Creek Relief, Dickson Creek and Big Slough in Titus County. Approximately 14.5 acres of additional right of way and one 0.4 acre temporary construction easement would be required for this project. The project is located approximately two miles southeast of Talco. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
