| Purpose | The Rural TIP Revision meeting is being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. A short presentation that shows projects that are included in the RTIP Revision will be available to view during the virtual public meeting. |
| Description | The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Atlanta District will conduct an online virtual public meeting for the 2023 – 2026 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP) August Revision which includes projects in Bowie, Harrison, and Upshur counties. The Atlanta District includes Bowie, Camp, Cass, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus, and Upshur counties. The Rural TIP includes all added capacity and regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, this meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. The Rural TIP Revision is the first step on the road to revising the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). |
