Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Environmental Assessment for Public Review - State Loop (SL) 335, Segment C-1

Purpose:

This notice advises the public that a final environmental assessment (EA) is available for public review, and TxDOT has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed State Loop (SL) 335, Segment C-1 project in Potter County, Texas.

Description:

The State Loop (SL) 335, Segment C-1 project proposed improvements from SW 9th Avenue to FM 1719 (N. Western Street).

The 5.8-mile project includes:

• Widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane freeway with ramps
• Adding one-way frontage roads and bridges
• Providing bicycle and pedestrian accomodations

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
