Virtual Public Meeting - FM 1960 Access Management Study

When:

The Virtual Public Meeting link will be available beginning Aug. 24 at 4:30 p.m. through Sept. 8, 2020.  In addition, the TxDOT project team will be available online through a Live Chat function included as part of the Virtual Public Meeting to answer questions at the follwoing dates and times:

  • Aug. 25, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
  • Aug. 26, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
  • Aug. 27, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

Purpose:

The purpose of the Virtual Public Meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements for the  FM 1960 Access Management Study, from East Gatewick (just east of I-45) to BF1960A (east of I-69).  The Virtual Public Meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the study team,  exhibits, roll plots, a study survey and an opportunity to comment. Comments received by Sept. 8, 2020, will be a part of the official public record.

Description:

The Study has identified short-, medium-, and long-range improvements to reduce crashes, improve mobility, enhance multi-modal connectivity, and support existing and future development. This virtual public meeting provides an opportunity to learn about these proposed improvements, ask questions, and provide feedback.

If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call TxDOT’s Public Information Office at (713) 802-5077 no later than Aug. 20, 2020, to request special accommodations. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
