When:

The Virtual Public Meeting link will be available beginning Aug. 24 at 4:30 p.m. through Sept. 8, 2020.  In addition, the TxDOT project team will be available online through a Live Chat function included as part of the Virtual Public Meeting to answer questions at the follwoing dates and times:

  • Tue., Aug. 25, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
  • Wed., Aug. 26, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
  • Thu., Aug. 27, 2020; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

Purpose:

The purpose of the Virtual Public Meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements for the  FM 1960 Access Management Study, from East Gatewick (just east of I-45) to BF1960A (east of I-69).  The Virtual Public Meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the study team,  exhibits, roll plots, a study survey and an opportunity to comment. Comments received by Tue., Sept. 8, 2020, will be a part of the official public record.

Description:

The Study has identified short-, medium-, and long-range improvements to reduce crashes, improve mobility, enhance multi-modal connectivity, and support existing and future development. This virtual public meeting provides an opportunity to learn about these proposed improvements, ask questions, and provide feedback.

If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
