US 290 Design-Build (DB)

TxDOT held a Pre-Procurement Partnering Industry Workshop on Jan. 22, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with industry partners to share information related to the development, procurement, and implementation of the US 290 DB (Project). The workshop was held in person in the Student Center Banquet Room of Blinn College located at 1007 West Second Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.

Please provide us your feedback on the Project information presented during the workshop and provided on this webpage, along with any other questions or comments, via the Project mailbox on or before Feb. 12, 2026.

TxDOT also intends to hold Pre-Procurement Partnering one-on-one meetings with design-build teams, prime contractors, or lead engineering firms to discuss the development, procurement, and implementation of the Project. The one-on-one meetings will be held at the Bryan District office the week of May 4, 2026. One-on-one meetings will be conducted in person only. Design-build teams, prime contractors, or lead engineering firms interested in attending a one-on-one meeting must express their interest via the Project mailbox on or before April 3, 2026.

Attendance at the workshop and one-on-one meetings is not mandatory and interested parties shall remain eligible to participate in future project solicitations if they do not attend. TxDOT is holding the workshop and one-on-one meetings solely to share and obtain information. It does not represent a commitment to issue a Request for Qualifications or a Request for Proposals in the future.
