OpenRoads Designer - Advanced Template Creation (DES75X)

This course will consist of creating advanced templates in OpenRoads Designer. Topics to be covered include template creation best practices, template creation workflows, and advanced OpenRoads template functions.

The course will explain a deeper understanding of the relationship of constraint types of the corridor and their relation to data management. The course will show how to use right of way targeting, fixed depth constraints, benching, and end condition exceptions within modeling. The course will also cover vector offset constraints, vertex fillet constraints, vertical and horizontal minimum constraints, display rules and trigger null points.

To recieve credit for this course, DES75X, you must enroll for in-person training through PeopleSoft.

The prerequisite to this course is DES750 - OpenRoads Designer for Plan Development. In addition, more “on the job” training of templates and modeling is encouraged before beginning this course.
