This project includes work to demolish and rebuild the I-35 exit ramp to Brooklyn Ave/McCullough Ave. Construction on this portion of the project is scheduled to begin at the end of May 2024 and is scheduled to be completed by fall 2024. Once complete, these improvements will allow the exit ramp to reopen to traffic.

Frontage road traffic will be detoured through Atlanta Ave., to Euclid Ave. and travel to Brooklyn Ave. to access the frontage road.

Throughout construction, drivers will experience temporary traffic shifts and lane closures. When lane closures are scheduled, advance notice will be given to the public.

Work is anticipated to take place on weekdays, generally from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional night-time work will be performed to limit impacts to traffic. Weekend and extended closures may be needed when major construction operations are taking place. Visit www.DriveTexas.org for the latest road conditions.
