SH 360 Corridor
SH 360 from SH 121 to I-30
TxDOT has identified potential planned improvements for SH 360 from I-30 to SH 121 as the region is able to identify future funding. Currently under development is a proposed project that would add mainlanes, frontage roads, bike lanes and sidewalks, and relocate entrance/exit ramps. The project would improve safety, reduce congestion, and add access to adjacent land. It is currently under schematic design and environmental assessment.

I-30/SH 360 interchange
The Texas Transportation Commission has approved Proposition 1 funding toward the new $233 million direct connect I-30/SH 360 interchange project. The project was awarded in November 2015 to Williams Brothers Construction Co., Inc. of Houston. This project is estimated for completion in 2023.
The project will provide a fully directional interchange at I-30 and SH 360 and will include the reconstruction and widening of the Six Flags Drive bridge over I-30 from two lanes to five lanes (three southbound lanes and two northbound lanes). The bridge will improve access to Six Flags Over Texas and the greater commercial area by extending Six Flags Drive north to Avenue H.
SH 360 from Abram Street to I-20
Construction began in Summer 2018 on a $53 million project to widen SH 360 from Abram Street to south of Interstate 20 from six to eight lanes. The 5-mile project will add one mainlane each direction by widening to the center median. To accommodate the expansion of this corridor, the Abram Street bridge will be replaced and five other bridges will be widened. Some ramp improvements will also be made to provide better access to the Arlington central business district. The project reached substantial completion in April 2021.
