Fort Worth District Transportation Master Plan

Master Plan Overview

The TxDOT Fort Worth District is developing a Transportation Master Plan for all TxDOT on-system roadways (approximately 9,200 lane miles) in the district. The Plan is an evaluation of the District’s roadway network to guide potential future transportation investment decisions. It will review ongoing planning efforts, current and projected people and goods movement, safety, anticipated population and land use changes, and community needs. Once this data is gathered, a report will highlight a prioritized list of on-system roadways.
